Penis Envy Mushroom Spores

Do you have Penis Envy? You may want to. These mushroom spores are among the hardest to find or propagate. Due to a genetic mutation in this strain, its gills are tiny, with no veil separating its cap and stem. The effect is far less spores, and an extremely phallic appearance. This member of the mushroom family is also among the most potent. That’s why the Penis Envy strain continues spawning hybrid children bearing its genetic structure. Penis Envy is real.

The Penis Envy strain of mushroom spores is infamous for both its appearance and its potency. While Penis Envy mushrooms are the easiest to spot, its spores are the hardest to find or propagate. Due to a genetic mutation in this strain, its gills (or lamella) are tiny, with no velum (or veil) separating cap and stem. The effect is far less spores, and an extremely phallic appearance. This also makes finding its spores a real challenge.

Due to this genetic mutation, only about 5% to 10% of Penis Envy mushrooms actually drop spores. They also take longer to fruit and develop. Despite its drawbacks, the Penis Envy strain is among the most potent. Perhaps that’s why this strain has fathered so many hybrid children—like the Albino Penis Envy. While the Penis Envy strain is one of the most elusive to find, its genetic blueprint is one of the most interesting to study for researchers around the world.

The origins of Penis Envy are still largely unknown, though believed to have come from Colombia. For years the prevailing theory held that renowned mycologist and psychonaut Terence McKenna was the first to isolate this mutant strain. Still others believe it was one of his proteges. Regardless of how it was first discovered or cultivated, the resulting strain inherited a significantly higher potency.

In the wild, this mushroom strain is known for medium to large fruits. Its bulbous caps are the reason for its nickname. Penis Envy caps tend to be about 50 mm in diameter or larger, often golden brown or yellow. Its bulbous, bell-shaped cap never fully expands, even at maturity. Its stems are thick, often contorted and even bulbous in the middle, growing to 125-275 mm in length. Unlike other mushrooms, whose stalks are largely hollow, mature Penis Envy is thick and fleshy.  But of course.

Don’t let its name stop you. For both its medicinal applications and rare genetic mutation, these mushroom spores are ideal for researchers of all kinds. Its psychoactive effects have been noted as intense euphoria and deep philosophical introspection, alongside very vivid visual stimulation. Under the microscope, its spores are purplish to brown and sub-ellipsoid, on 4-spored basidia. Far fewer in volume, these mushroom spores are where the magic happens.

Our Penis Envy Mushroom Spores are sold suspended inside a 10CC syringe, surrounded by sterile, distilled water. This rare and potent strain is the envy of mycologists around the globe. Penis Envy is real, and well named. So if you don’t yet have Penis Envy, it’s likely you should.
